What level
of quality is your camera?
Our camera is a
brand new broadcast quality camera shooting in high definition 16:9 widescreen. We use a shoulder mount camera
for stability purposes and filming duration capabilities. The clarity and picture quality are amazing and it
is ideal for shooting the perfect wedding.
How
many camera's do you operate?
We just use the
one camera for each wedding. This helps keep your costs down and two cameras is unneccesary. Using
experienced operators, such as ourselves, one camera is all you need to cover a wedding. 2 cameras can be overkill.
We also have a spare camera ready to go (just in case - touch wood).
Is the sound recording good on this camera?
Excellent! Manual audio levels on the camera with a shot-gun mic for superior sound. During
the ceremony, we use a professional Sony radio microphone on the groom, as well as the camera mic, so we can pick up
all the vows etc.
Are
you unobtrusive?
Yes,
definitely. We try to get the shots we need without being obtrusive. Many people forget we are even there.
Churches, though, are very hard to film in. We do our best and communicate with the celebrant beforehand as to limitations
etc. The aim is to find the best spot and to stay there. This is why we are recommended by Adelaide's largest
and most treasured cathedral, St Peter's Cathedral, in North Adelaide.
Do you stay until the end of the reception?
That is up to you. It is always good to capture the entire day from start to end. You choose the
start and finish time with 5 hours being the minimum. Most people desire to capture the preparation beforehand
right up to them leaving the reception.
What
do we get included with our chosen package?
All
packages include high definition filming, professional editing, and quality presentation on DVD. You will receive 3
copies of your Edited Version and 3 copies of your Unedited Version, all on DVD.
What does the Edited Version contain?
The Edited Version (highlights) is your entire day condensed down to a 20-40 minute video production
containing music, titles, and tasteful special effects. (There's no 'page-turn' special effects here!)
You can choose the music yourself or leave it up to us. We are quite specific with our music selection, choosing music
you have walked down the aisle to, or dance your first dance to.
How long does it take to receive our completed wedding videos?
As soon as possible! We endevour to have your completed wedding DVDs back to you asap.
We realise you want to re-live the day as soon as possible so we attempt to have it back to you within a few weeks.
Do you work well with photographers?
Yes. We mainly let the photographers control what happens on the
day. Whilst they are setting up the shots, we will be capturing our artistic shots that make up your video.
